Thank you big time for the pointer / game tip. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

I am now in the middle of Orc country in chapter 4.
I am also a 5th circle mage now.
I have enough skill points to go into the 6th circle.
I do not understand why the spells "Wave of Ice" and "Rain of Fire"
are 5th circle spells.
In fact I consider them pretty weak, pathetic spells,
which leaves a mage totally vulnerable to direct attack.
"Rain of Fire" hasn't done any damage to anything enemy near
or far yet, and "Wave of Ice" is such a short lived spell
it's only good for two enemies at a time.
Any more than that the spell wears off and they're on top of and
wailing on you.
Plus, you have to be very close to the enemy
before that spell will even work.
Even a combo of "Wave of Ice" and then "Rain of Fire"
is Lame-O...and is way too risky.
Besides, would a mage in real life move in that close
making themselves that vulnerable to an attack? I don't think so.
So as a mage I decided to specialize in other spells instead.
The "Storm Fist" spell works Super Great on Fire Lizards!

I also ran into a new monster for me, "Razor's"!
I thought, "Oh, no as if Snappers were not bad enough".
Well, it took me about 4 reloads till I finally found a tactic
that worked for me and I wasted those bloody buggers.
I love those Blood Fly scrolls. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
The whole front half of Orc country is cleared.
Now, to move in some and clear some more.
