How do you get NPC's as characters? I'm thinking like people and mobs of guys who follow you around and stuff..

Besides summons.

And I'm looking for classic RPG's. Like Arcanum, Baldur's Gate (1 & 2), and that other one..Fallout! Fallout was fun.

Yeah.

Well are there any others? There's got to be some.

And 'noda question, is there a list of objects you can combine? I know you can do like the two straws and like an empty mug with a keg and stuff..but that's pretty much all I know.

DD is essentially a single character game. You can summon creatures or resurrect slain opponents, then cast Aura of Command on them to have them follow you around, but that's it.

The Alchemy Guide has a list of items that can be combined towards the bottom of the page.

Fallout 1&2 are fun and available at online stores or bargain bins. Arcanum is great as is <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />. There's a lot of help here at the forum; I know. Baldur's Gate 2 is still available.
DD is funny and the quests are great.

Have you tried Planescape:Torment? You'll probably like it since you liked BG (boult on basiclly the same system) and Fallout.

Yeah, I tried Planescape Torment. I really like RPG's that involve parties of characters, like BG. Not stuff like Diablo, that scared the crap out of me.
And with all these neat sidequests and extra things if you looked hard enough.
I'm just a picky RPG guy.
