Hi.

i need some help again <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

My problem started at the very end of act 2 and carries on to the beginning of act 3.

Sometimes when I’m playing the game, I accidentally press the windows key, instead of the alt key, but it does not cause any problems I just restore the game. Which is still playing in the background.

Last night I did the same thing again, and all hell broke loss. I got an error messages (which I forgot to make a note off) and the game crashed, I restarted the game but when I played the game, the pictures was large and now-where near as sharp as the picture was.

So I re-installed the game and patch and everything seemed fine, until I tried to save, the game crashed back to windows with no error message.

When I restarted the game everything was large and un-sharp.

The only thing I did notice before the problem was my Black Knight sometimes would not take any health drink when I told him to, so I had to reload a saved game then anything was o.k. for while.

I have read thought the faq, but nothing seems to refer to my problem, though I have gone through some of the suggestions, like check my saved games are not on read only, ran a dxdiag no problems found.

I have not added or messed around with my P.C since I started playing the game, I always play with Norton Antivirus off and firewall.

THere are a couple of thinkgs that may help.

1. You can try to download Direct X 9.0c after you installed, it run DXDIAG (the Direct X Diagnostic tool) (You can run it by clicking on start, run, and typing in DXDIAG). Do all the tests and see if it comes up fine or if there are any errors.

2. Try to update your graphics card drivers, sometimes with a crash, the drivers become corrupted and will give problems until they are either replaced or updates. You can get the updated drivers from nVidia

3.

Try deleting the files in the dynamic folders;
'..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act1\Dynamic', '..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act2\Dynamic', etc.
These folders are used as a cache for the game. Files are created / copied there from the save game folder when you load, and written / copied to those folders when you save a game. The files will be re-created as required the next time you start Beyond Divinity. If there was a corrupt file in those folders, deleting the files should fix the problem.

Before you start playing again to test if this helps, run the Config tool for BD (located in start, programs, larian studios, Beyond divinity, Config)
Set your resolution to the same as what you are running in windows.
