THere are a couple of thinkgs that may help.

1. You can try to download Direct X 9.0c after you installed, it run DXDIAG (the Direct X Diagnostic tool) (You can run it by clicking on start, run, and typing in DXDIAG). Do all the tests and see if it comes up fine or if there are any errors.

2. Try to update your graphics card drivers, sometimes with a crash, the drivers become corrupted and will give problems until they are either replaced or updates. You can get the updated drivers from nVidia

3.
Quote
Try deleting the files in the dynamic folders;
'..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act1\Dynamic', '..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act2\Dynamic', etc.
These folders are used as a cache for the game. Files are created / copied there from the save game folder when you load, and written / copied to those folders when you save a game. The files will be re-created as required the next time you start Beyond Divinity. If there was a corrupt file in those folders, deleting the files should fix the problem.

Before you start playing again to test if this helps, run the Config tool for BD (located in start, programs, larian studios, Beyond divinity, Config)
Set your resolution to the same as what you are running in windows.
