A young boy was riding in a car with his father one day. Suddenly, a truck pulled out from a side road, causing a huge accident. The father was killed and the boy was seriously injured.
An ambulance arrived and rushed the boy to hospital, where he was taken immediately to the emergency operating theatre.
The duty surgeon strode in, took one look at the boy, turned deathly pale, and said in a choking voice "Somebody else please take over, I can’t do this – that’s my son".
"my son"? How come?
