Nice one with the numbers!
Spoiler : I wasted a couple of minutes trying to devise elaborate mathematical progressions such as 1 squared + 1 = 2; 2 squared - 1 = 3; 3 squared +1 = 10; 4 squared - 1 = 15 ah crap....! Then wondering about the colours on roulette wheels (were they all red??) before simply reading them out loud and spotting the answer. Nice red herring with missing out 21 - 26 too. Good one!

8, 5, 4, 9, 1, 7, 6, 3, ?, ? Geez, you've got me stumped there for the moment HandEFood. In the meantime, you might like to try this. The following complete sequence has three too many commas (,) in it. Remove 3 and make sense of it. 8,1,1,4,4,5,6,1,5,1,5,4 Edit: whoops! fixed typo..

What are the next two numbers in this sequence?
8, 5, 4, 9, 1, 7, 6, 3, ?, ? Any chance of a hint please? It is mathematical, or should I be looking for something like atomic weights, or numbers of husbands wed by the Gabor sisters, a code to crack, or.... ?

8,1,1,4,4,5,6,1,5,1,5,4
Here's some hints and an answer for that one: Hint 1: Spoiler : 8, 1, 14, 4, 5, 6, 1, 5, 1, 5, 4 (only 2 extra commas left) Hint 2: Spoiler : 8, 1, 14, 4, 5, 6, 15, 1, 5, 4 (only one surplus comma) Hint 3: Spoiler : 8, 1, 14, 4, 5, 6, 15, 15, 4 so what does it mean? Answer: Spoiler : 8(H) 1(A) 14(N) 4(D) 5(E) 6(F) 15(O) 15 (O) 4(D)

8, 5, 4, 9, 1, 7, 6, 3, ?, ? If I've got the right idea here, then it seems that there could be quite a few possible answers: Spoiler : The simplest looks like 2,0 - but lots of others also follow what seems to be the rule. i.e. Several possible combinations of two numbers between 21 and 29, numerous ones above two hundred, two thousand, etc.

The puzzle only asks for the next two answers because there are only two more answers. If it was to use the multi-digit numbers, then the rest of the puzzle would have them as well. Congrats for getting it!
