Personally i dont like this game. frankly i think its awfull but its very addictive so thats probably the only reason why i have played it for so long.
First of all i just have to mention the voices in the game, simply awful ( saw the post about the DK voice, but decided to add it here anyway )
and the voice thats talking during the intro-video ( dk voice? )
but worst of all, in samuels dungeon. i actually laughed out loud. 4 levers, and when you press one a voice says : BEWARE, one sais OF, one sais THE and one sais TRAPS. this voice sounds like something that was supposed to be used in a SEGA 8b game, but was considered to redicolous for people to hear, and so the put it in a black box and hid it 500 feet underground until Larian studios found it...
and second
the game doesnt feel like a rpg game. it feels controlled. take f.ex the battlefields in act 1. 3 islands with a bridge between them. it doesnt look like a natural enviroment, it looks really stupid. every island looks just like the other one. 3 squares next to each other.
and i dont feel the freedom that rpg-games are supposed to provide. i feel like.. "IF YOU WANT TO COMPLETE THIS GAME YOU HAVE TO ENTER BATTLEFIELD 1 AND KILL ALL THE MONSTERS IN ORDER TO ADVANCE IN OUR DUNGEONS" .
one good thing about the game is the Donkey ears that i found on top of a shelf, been using them ever since. they rule <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
