anyway the concept of a universal natural language may be in itself a contradictory concept... as the only universal language for the moment we can know is formal (logical language)...

I don't think that the idea of a universal language is a contradictory one. How did languages come to existence? Surely because human beings felt the urge of communicating. And the reason why there are different languages is the fact that in the past, peopleS were separated from each other so that they developed their own languages which were not necessarily compatible to each other (even though, there are quite a few similarities between most languages).
So, why shouldn't it be possible to "create" a universal language today. Most parts of the world are connected to each other by various media types - like internet, TV or printing media. Under these circumstances, I think it is possible to develop a language which everyone speaks - it's actually the next necessary and logical step.
And if you imagine that there are other planets with life, you will again have different languages because the planets would have been separated, too. But then the next step would be to get a language which beings on all planets speak.

Etc. pp.

Btw, we shouldn't forget that English is sort of becoming a universal language anyway since there is practically no country in the world where you aren't taught English in the school - that's the other way of creating a universality. You don't develop a new language but make sure that most of the people learn one existing language.

also, if it was a language that was so natural in the way of naturally used this time, why not posting in esperanto in this 'chat anything' section?

Well, obviously because more or less nobody would understand it, don't you think so?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I have the impression that the concept of a universal language means for you that everybody automatically can speak that language - which is of course not the case. It is just a language which is supposed to be able to be acquired easier than any other language and still can replace them because of its universality.
But as I said... maybe I am misinterpreting your words... if so, sorry. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
