sorry but i was tired yesterday... and i've mad a mistake: when i said 5 or 6% of the world population i meant 5 or 6 % of the world's population not being born with the english language as a Muttersprache... if not read like that it has no real sense... and i'm not saying that those born with english as a motherly language are not included in world population (fortunately for me here <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />)
but trouble is that a language whatever it is is a reflect of our mental representations... and so an universal language should be a reflect of representations that can be universaly aknowledged... maybe something contradictory indeed... anyway esperanto has a very restricted definition of what is universal ("occidental" culture)...
