That's true Dragh. The problem with solar is that the panels are only about 35% efficient so strong UV lght is needed. In low sun areas a wind generator usually works. One or the other. Or both at best! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

Tidal power, solar and wind are actually the only true recylable sources of energy. Maybe geothermal too, that is rare though. Would be good in Iceland.

Stick with the alternatives i.e. coal, gas, oil, nuclear and you'll have a planet that glows in the dark, has no ozone and a surface temp of 30 deg C ALL OVER! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
