The movie murder case seems almost too easy:

Spoiler : They are in a drive-in cinema, right?

The dead husband case:

I'm angry with myself because I read the solution. I was close, though.

If Sveltje is right I blame the fact that we don't have those here in Sweden (if you know what we don't have in Sweden, you've got a clue . Bribed lawyers? no that's not it. I mean, we don't have those in Sweden, but it's no the correct answer anywhay...)

Nailed! You'd be surprised how hard it can be though if the wrong mental picture has been implanted in the mind of the guesser... Spoiler : I don't think we have any drive ins here any more either. The last of them closed some years back, so now we'd automatically think of a regular cinema.

Have you got any more puzzles for us to try Sveltje?

Here's a classic, so you may already know it. It was my first of these puzzles. They tend to be a little bizarre sometimes.

A man comes home, doesn't notice the sawdust and shoots himself.

Bizarre? No bs? Is the kind of gun important? It his mental state important (sad/happy)? Does he carry some kind of dicease? Is he married? Does he work? Is it important? If he works, is where important?

After this, at least we should know a little of what to ask .

There are hundreds of possibilities...

But "artist" is pretty close.

It's a puzzle - so you can assume that all relevant information is in the riddle:

A man - so it might make a difference, that it's not a woman

comes home - so it's relevant that it is in his home, not his working place or elsewhere

does NOT notice the saw dust - so it would have made a difference, if he had noticed it?

and shoots himself - the consequence, with what is irrelevant.

then again - maybe it is not all the relevant information?

Isn't the point with THESE puzzles the fact that you DON'T have all the important information?

Well, it is not that kind of puzzle. Asking for more information is part of the game. I'll take your statements as questions, okay?

Q: A man - so it might make a difference, that it's not a woman. -
A: No, it might as well have been a woman.

Q: comes home - so it's relevant that it is in his home, not his working place or elsewhere
A: Yes!

Q: does NOT notice the saw dust - so it would have made a difference, if he had noticed it?
A: Yes again!

Uebereil's questions:

Q: Did he work with wood?
A: No

Q: Is it important?
A: Yes

Q: Is his work all that's important?
A: No

Bat what if it was important? And is there more important information? Is it important to know what kind of house he lives in? And if it is, does he live in a wooden cottage? (The sawdust must come from somewere!) Is the sawdust important (I guess it is, but we must have it clear...)?

No, it doesn't have to be wooden.
