Shantara - I'd honestly say that PS:T is still the most advanced CRPG ever because it is the only game so far to involve actual role playing, in that your character is allowed to be the kind of person you want him to be and is not forced along one preferred path. It's certainly the closest to an actual pen and paper RPG I've ever seen.
