Intel released one about 4 months ago.... but was forced to pull it back, due to instability and overheating issues.

THey only have a 64 bit server CPU.... but for that price, i rather buy myself 8 AMD 64 bit systems, COMPLETE.

Intel is slowly losing the battle to keep up with AMD. If you benchmark some systems, you cant help but note a dramatic speed diference with games(AMD in the lead).

It was mentioned in another thread (my brain is too rotten tonight to remember where / when), detailing the strengths and weaknesses of intel / AMD.

the summary would be:
Intel is good for office applications ad internet applications. (how fast does your computer need to be, to cope with a 1Mbps internet connection??? - taking average speeds)
AMD is good with graphics and gaming applications. (now HERE i can use good performance)
