thought of getting more RAM, at least 512MB if not 1GB. yeah, i'm still on DDR266. hopefully those will still be around when i decide to upgrade.

but then again, i've been thinking of changing that DVD drive of mine to a newer one, possibly even a combo drive, but my old one though a bit senile (no insult intended) & picky on discs, it can still work well enough.

also i thought of getting me a USB2 card as the one that i have now (USB1.1) is way too slow for file transfer. but i don't use it that often so should i?

as a gamer, my thoughts would always gravitate around hungry horses like graphic card & audio card. still stuck with me old geforce4 mx440 & my bro's Extigy (gads, i hate that bloody thing, it's worse than my old SB Live! thanks to USB1.1 connection, i can't do simultaneous audio tracks without the whole thing stuttering), i've been thinking - stick with nvidia or try out ati? get the old reliable SBLive digital or go Audigy(1 or 2, doesn't matter)?

or just don't any of those at all & save up for stuff like car, trip (been thinking of scotland), studies etc.... ? the last time i had that thought, my old geforce2 died on me & forced me to upgrade.
