I played Divine Divinity and loved it. Unfortunately Beyond Divinity has backtracked to the Baldurs Gate/Fallout camera system where you have to physically move the camera with your mouse or arrow keys. The camera is no longer centered automatically on your character!

How in the world can this be omitted from this game? This is the reason why I did not purchase this game. Things like this drive me nuts. The camera should follow my character around.

I rather have completely control of my camera -- like in NWN:HOTU.

I don't care for it centered all the time. Though, there should be an option to turn on and off if the cam should be centered or not.

You had total control in DD... if you had caps on, it would run free, like in BD... otherwise you had to press shift to get total control...

But yes, i did miss the auto centre in BD.

If you click the left mouse button and hold to direct your characters, the screen will automatically re-centre on the leader. There were also party selection hotkeys and a screen re-centre hotkey added after the demo was released, in addition to clicking / double clicking on the character portraits.

Yip, i agree all of that is there, but its still not as nice as having it do it by default...

In DD you could turn it off.... why not keep it that way, give us the option to disable and enable it.
