I understand your pain but just remember to keep your composure, also keep in mind that this time isnt nearly as bad as the time spent installing it will be...thats the worst, stay positive!!! We dont want you to lose face in front of the game! It will spite you forever!
But seriously let us know how it is when you get it...and please do some comparisons to Morrowind...I couldnt figure that one out...I ran around for 3 hours and got so lost I couldnt stand it, lets us know if the main storyline is clear, while keeping things open-ended enough to be fun...oooh and is there a 3rd person perspective? Im not a big fan of the FPS style...

I didn't like Morrowind either. The storyline/characterinteraction was to unpersonal.

Yes. You can switch between first and third person perspectives.

OMG *ecstasy* after my intro the japanese culture class ended...i drove all the way back home.
I blew pass the unforunates that were stuck in traffic cause i rock <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> then went straight to the store...the guy was like um yeah we sold out of all of those and i stood there in shock tring to stay within the realm of the living, then out of a glimmer of hope there was this other guy that worked there heading on his way back with copies in his hand....said there were some left in the back that no one bothered to put out.
i was given one and my heart began to race as i made my way to the check out line *insert power trip* i was holding the game of the century in my hands never before was i so excited over some childish video game...i didn't bother to waste 10 more us dollars for the collectors edition....i was too happy to have recieved my official copy in my hands..i could feel the power vibrate from the game or was it the blood rushing through my body from the increased heart rate......
after i payed for the game (there was a brief conversation about why so many people came asking for the game i mumbled some stuff i was in shock from my power trip)i booked out to the parking lot where i made my impressive parking job with my car lol i took two lanes and drove the speed limit home,,,, nothing would ruin this chance not even the cops although i risked it with my park job looking back lol :P (everyone in america drives 5 miles per hour over the speed limit) but it was just a precaution
anyway as sit and write this the GAME OF THE GODS has just finished installing......i might come on later but the pull might be too strong :P i promise to tell you all about it soon
the game beckons must play
This is SpArTa!! oh im sorry, I must have took a wrong turn..somewhere...(runs away)

It's still not up on piratebay <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" />. I'm starting to get worried...

Edit: Finally found it (on a site called TorrentSpy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" />). It's huge though so it will prolly take a couple of ages to download (geeze, more than 4 GB!).
BTW I vow to buy it if I like it (if I don't I'm a bad person <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />).

Apart from the fact that there are WAY too many leechers, and WAY too few seeders, yes I can. It's illegal, but that has never stopped anyone (well, someone somewhere probablly got cold feet, but that's about it).

wow, heavy!
But how long does it takes to download it? like 10 hours or even more? I wish it would take 10 hours <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />! Since I have no downloadspeed, it will probablly take... long time. Let's say I download in 30 kbits/second (which isn't fast, but it's decent) it will download 6 MB/minute. 4 GB=4096 MB. 4096/6=682 and 2/3. 683/24=28,5. So, if you're lucky enought to have a constant downloadspeed of 30kbits/sec it will take you about 30 hours to download it. I don't have to play it now... Übereil

Even if I could download it, this is one of those games that deserves to be bought, if only to reward the people that made it for us.
I am in blood Stepp'd in so far, that, should I wade no more, Returning were as tedious as go o'er.

Virgo you [nocando] give me an update...I mean us! Give US an update! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" /> Acually thinking of buying it because it will take such a ridiculous time to download it (I've downloaded for allmost 20 hours and I've downloaded allmost 5%. That means it will take 400 hours to download it). Übereil Edit: OK, I was wrong, it took 20 hours to dl 12%. So it will take about 180 hours. Hehehe... Well, at least the speed is more than 1kb/sec so it will probablly be shorter.

DD doesn't use your internet <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />. You can have the download on in the background <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />.

I guess I can spare a few seconds <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> from playing Oblivion FYI these are compared mostly against their previous game called Morrowwind
Personal Cons: However small they may be <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> *can't rename or name save files(might be patched)but still can save like save 1 save 2 save 3 a way around this is to rename your files once you close Oblivion go to my documents and find your save files there *can't wear cloths under armor(I doubt they will add new code to patch this) *shoulder guards are made part of the chest armor(yes shoulder armor is not separate anymore)(I doubt they will add new code to patch this) *the game is a little (not too much though just barely noticeable) picky about where you can drop items on the ground case you get over burdened(might be patched ) *you can't tell numerically how far you are to the next level before you rest(might be patched)there is just a bar *the game is too cool <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
Noticeable Pros: *skills have been modded slightyly so now, there are sertain key levels of your skill, like master grandmaster etc, well anyway you also get certain bonuses for having high skill with these titles you get for instance, having a high block skill helps you absorb for damage (damage reduction) etc *also almost forgot, you can use your middle mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out of 1st person mode(i assume you can config another key to do this for you but i use my mouse) *Npcs are out and about in the many areas of the game *npcs take action and do things, movements and so forth *beautiful music and sound effects *lots of voice overs for all the npcs *Graphics are god like *your magic now regenerates on its own like your fatigue based on your willpower *lots of art for interface *I love this game <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" /> *the tutorial in the beginning of the game fits in rather smoothly and can be ignored, its face paced and doesn't take away from the fun(fits into the beginning plot) *there is a plot and you can speed by the many cool things you can do in the game Or follow along the main quest *you can open up your map and travel instant(the game takes walking hours into account)by clicking on an icon of a city or fort or icon of a place *graphics are god like *did I mention that the opening movie doesn't even lag, I mean that’s got to be the first game that hasn't lag in the opening movie
I don't think the beginning area is horrible But that’s just me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
