I don't know about the other horses, but the one I got from a quest fights ennemies, and he's pretty strong. Saved me a couple times, he did.

Oh, and yes the Dark Brotherhood is very fun, but has any of you done the Thieves' guild quests yet? Very fun, and you get to pay off your bounties for only half the price <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

So far I've finished the arena, the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves' guild. I am working on the main storyline quests now.
