May I suggest we start this thread over again as it's not making any sense. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />

I think we should use full sentences (and possibly a paragraph each) instead of snippets of 5 words that lead of into a tangent of non-sensical musings.

The wizard was thinking about releasing his grip on the last magical thread of energy that trickled through his fingers. His power was weakening daily, and more and more the effort of maintaining a consistent flow of power was sapping his strength almost to the point of collapse.

And THAT is now the start of the story? I'm not questionging anything, I'm just asking if that's a fact.

Ah. I wonder how we should continue it... Great thing though, restarting it and changeing the rules like that. I was thinking the same thing.

How you continue is completely up to you. Add a paragraph if you like.

The wizard was thinking about releasing his grip on the last magical thread of energy that trickled through his fingers. His power was weakening daily, and more and more the effort of maintaining a consistent flow of power was sapping his strength almost to the point of collapse.

that's a great start, plowking. the story can go on in many ways - psychotic even. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" /> the way i like it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

Had it not for the vain effort to elevate my latent prescient ability, i will not ..... Bah! he thought in regret. However it was not in vain as he could project the time when he would totally collapse & through his partially unlocked prescient ability, he found a possible alternative to his predicament. never answer, but alternative. He smiled weakly.

The all too brief vision showed a herb, Angeltide. A herb heavy with magical properties because it grew only with the light of the second sun. But it's highly addictive, illegal to process, and has an ever growing list of side-effects. I'm beginning to see why others have taken that dangerous road, he thought to himself. The loss of magical power was a stronger emotional pull towards despair than any other he ever thought possible.

My only option is to go back to the everlasting sanctuarium he told himself. Altho he has no recolection of ever beeing at the sanctuarium his body remembers and shivers on the tought of it. Looking at his shaking hand he let loose a growling sigh of conflict.

With a thump of his fist upon the table he rose from the chair and strode sullenly to his study window. His strength returned quickly while not attempting to draw on the light of the second sun, Maga - the source that fuels all magic power in the realm. Not many people beyond the age of forty could retain their power. Why this was the case was unknown to all. It was those fortunate few that every five years would be born on the Day of Maga under the light of the second sun who could wield the power. And only those people would cast a shadow from its light. Blessed are those who cast their image twice upon the earth ...or so the saying went. But Tyrion didn't feel blessed.
