If your cook is French, your butler English, your house German, your salary American and your wife Japanese, you are a happy man - but what a fate, if your cook is English, your butler German, your house French, your salary Japanese and your wife American.

{too many? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> - so be it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />}

When Spick mentioned Rome I rememberred one thing my father use to say:

Rome wasn't built in one day.

I forgot to post a winner. Sorry. I almost gave it to Womble because his sig meets the criteria, and he almost won before I even announced the topic. Those forum fellows speaking Francais might have won, but I don't know what they said. Well, although Spick's wasn't especially clever, it might have won because it was after all an aphorism. But Rome is not a country, Spick.

Take it away Glance-a-lot.

Let's make the next round relating to "business"

whether immoral or amoral, profitable or charitable - a tip for winners?

I am not incorruptible, but I am expensive! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

@Ube
It suggests that Swedes do not express their emotions. I do not know if this is true.
