It may be that the name is different in the english version of the game, where in the game are you?

Which act? or which area?

Edit:

If you are referring to Divine Divinity, the staff is in the same house where gemoe is... (in verdistis, north of the tavern... if i remember correctly is a house that is standing slightly seperate)

Welcome to the forum PhenixX

To find Goemoe, first you have to go to the Merchant Guild for talking to Trevor.
Trevor will tell you that he rented a house to a mage in Verdistis.
He will indicate on your map the location of the house with a red flag.
You will find easyly Goemoe and the polymorph wand in this house.

What community house? The house the dwarven council member can wander into is just south of the axe monument.

You are in the right place. The third elven artifact is the staff that Josephine drops, though it can also be in the locked chest in that room. If you defeated her behind the stairs or the wall, which could be obscuring the alt description, try moving your mouse over that area. Check your weapon inventory; if you already picked it up, it might need to be identified first (don't recall if the elven council member cares, or not).

Thanx a lot, Raze....
Would still be messing aroud in the burrialgrounds, or where the dwarfes were, and trying to find it...

By the way, Raze. What level are you in? I'm in 32, and I got five members of the council... is that bad??

Level 32 and five members in the council? - - I'd say you have a number of quests still open, because at that stage you could be in the late thirties. However, whether that's good or bad lies in the eyes of the beholder - it seems to be fast playing with ignoring side quests.

After gathering all of the council members and tying up loose ends, I was level 45 when I hit the gong. The average level then is probably closer to 40-42. I left the imp council member and wishing well until the last to get the most benefit from the level bonuses, did every quest and cleared all areas, and played with Resurrect a bit to re-kill monsters. The wastelands were a cakewalk.

After you successfully scry for the dwarven council member and get the stone axe quest, the second level of the dwarven mines (in the dwarven halls, Dark Forest) will be open. Dwarven mines level 1

You can download the inventory files to get the third ceremonial item; screenshot (70KB)

I downloaded that savefile. It wasn't even fun! I killed imps on one hit!

You have to take the key that's near the dor where Goeme(the snake) is traped (hold the alt key and you will see it) and then with it open the dor that's a little south, (2-3 steps ) open the dor,and in that room you will find a magic wand.Take the magic wand and go back in the room where goeme is.Talk to him.All this time you don't have to climb that ledder. It's all in those 2 rooms.

But sometimes the ceremonial item is stucked in the wall and it is impossible to get it.
In that case, the best is to load an old savegame.
Without savegame download the files given by Raze.

Telekinesis (spell books can be bought) can also be used to get items that become stuck in walls, as long as the default action is to pick up (so would not work for a dropped letter). It is more likely the ceremonial staff just dropped behind the central wall or stairs and is hidden from sight than it is stuck in a wall, though.

trust me...you can't always use Telekinesis...I tried it for about 2 hours with with the staff that josie dropped in the wall...

the best thing you can do is load a previous savegame and play the scene again or better yet start over the whole game...
