On versatility I prefer the Druid over the Shaman - though the resurrection skill of the druid is a joke (once every 30 min is really impractical).
On First Aid - that is a skill I would actually teach any character, as even if you do not need it because you can heal, the bandages sell well, thus are a money resource that would otherwise be wasted by having to sell the raw cloth found.
