In Sweden we have this thing kalled Adventskalender. It works like this:
Every day, starting on the first of December you open a tapdoor on your calender. There are 24 of them, so if you're a real egghead you know that there are one for every day until Christmass. It ends on Christmass eve (which is the main day for us Swedes, don't ask me why, it's just the way it is. Maybe it sarted out as lack of patience.). You can allso have a Chocolatevariant, then every tapdoor contains a piece of chocolate. They usually taste like $hit...
Anywhay, I was thinkin of createing our very own Adventskalender. Why? Since it's such a nice tradition! Maybe you have it in other countries (like Germany, for some strange reason we've got a lot of our traditions from Germany). So, here we go.
