Isn't so that Christmasday just happens to be the 25th of december because of all the previous Christian holidays are exactly 5 or 18 or even 30 away from the previous one? I mean that in example, Easter falls on the 25th of March, so the next holiday (Maria Hemelvaart? Not know in English) falls exactly 20 days or so later? If someone understands this, please help me out because I'm not good in Christian holidays!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />

I don't think that's how it works.

Christmas is December 25th becase that is Jesus' birthday (well, it's not really, but that's when we celebrate it).

Easter Sunday is the Sunday on or after the first full moon after March 22nd. The other three Easter days fall around this. Jesus was entombed on what became Good Friday. The full moon was on Sunday. On Monday he arose from death and left his tomb. Easter Dating Method.

I don't know what other Christian or Catholic holidays there are so I can't help more.
