In actuality Eastershould be, and I believe once was, tied to the Jewish holiday of Passover. The last supper was a Passover Seder (ceremonial meal). The Hebrew calendaris a lunar one. However, the Christian church did not want to be tied to a Jewish tradition/holiday even though Christ celebrated it and therefore came up with a new way of figuring it.

I love to hear more about Jewish holidays, I like the one with all the light, Chanouka, it is? And why on earth we do not want to be tied to the Jewish holidaytradition if Jesus was a Jew? Damn those popes!! There is something I don't understand. If Jesus was a Jew, how come the Jews al over the world took the blame of his dead? As far as I know, the romans killed the poor guy and not the Jews, but I may be mistaken.
Anyone???
