Well everybody has seen my opinion and religious beliefs.... I will never condem any other religion, nor the lack of it. I think that everybody somehow believes in the essence of good and evil... most religions have given these 2 a name.
I do not question the higher beings in times of suffering, neither do i see it as a test they put before me (like a lot of religions do), suffering is part of life.... i dont blame anybody for it... but its nice to have a higher being to ask for assistance in getting through the hard times... (even if its just equal to a child having an imaginary friend, that friend will "help" the child through tough tasks - even if its just emotionally in the "knowledge" that he is not alone)
I cant imagine not having my "imaginary friend", my helper in need....

Technically, I'm reformed Christian (what is known in Germany as "Evangelisch"), but my mind wanders ... I still believe in the Creator and in Jesus, but there are things that are almost as important as this ... for example I consider Love as "the highest pinciple" of the whole Creation, so I think it wouldn't be bad if I would chose this as my Religion - still believing in the Creator, but additionally believing in this principle. Well, I'm currently a bit into what's known as "spirituality", so my own opinions are sometimes a bit ... strange ?

AlrikFassbauer Strange? Never! You have embarked on a path of self discovery and personal enlightenment. That is a good thing and the road is only yours to travel. Best of wishes to you on your journey. Tsel

I am also into spiritualism, and i find it strange that you think your beliefs are strange.... its merely openminded.
Some people chose to close their minds to the things they are not ready to understand.

Lady_Rain That’s right A closed mind is a mind no longer open to edification. It is never wrong to question things and seek answers. It is all part of the sentence of the soul. I'm agreeing here. Tsel

I've grown up as a quite rational-logic-driven person, who uses his head instead of his heart.
My change was only a few years ago ... I mean that I opened my self to emotions ... a whole lotta new world !
I've learned to listen to other things, without giving up my "logical inferfaces", so to say I can still be a logical man, but I put in as addition things from the "emotional world" as well. To me, it's "the best of two worlds" Intuition can be a very effective things, once you've learnd to listen to it ...
I'm still a thinker, thinking often too much, and doubting too much as well. Although I know who I am. I question my self too much I think ... but at least I'm on my way. And I question what I actually feel ...
But at least I know that I'm on my way ...

I find it logical to believe that there are more in this world than what we can see, i find it logical that entities from other realms / dimensions are a reality.
"If the defenition of "what is real" is something that we can feel, see, touch, smell, then real only means a series of electrical impulses, interpreted by the mind" - Morpheus, Matrix
there are more things thats real, we can sense it, one way or another...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the bible say love God and thy neighbor? Isn't that what you're saying your intrested in too? Sorry, not really concentrating much today. personally im supriaws by the polls, but it seems lots of people aren't voting but its good no matter what. What do people think on the creation/evolution? Or creation with evolution?

When my youngest female cousin - her name was Elena - had died, she was *very* young, then, participated in the Grundschule (elementary school), there were the usual Meal after the funeral - that's tradition here. I'd call it "Remembrance Meal". During the meal children were running around, playing, like they ever did, like there wasn't so much sorrow around us, then.
I said to my aunt - Elena had been her daughter - "if Elena was still with us, she would love this, running around, playing, like she ever did." And she agreed.
From that day I think that it always is a good idea to keep good memories of a lost person - reminding what the person liked and perform that.
If I would die, I would rather make some jokes to you to show you that there is more than that ... I wouldn't want you to completely cover yourself with grief and sorrow. How would a Jester be liked to be remembered ...
So reminding my self of these jokes Kira liked ... is to me the possibly best way to keep her in good memories : I find a thing that she would've liked and laughed about - and remember that.
Like this "dancing Jesus".
