I agree with everything said here.

When UbiSoft buys a company, they keep the company's original logo, name and leave them a pretty serious extent of freedom.
When EA buys a company...

They assimilate it, adds their creative distinctiveness to their own. Everything published by the said company goes out under EA Games. Just look at Westwood!
