death ol' chap, i picked the third choice & seemed to be the only one who does at the time of voting.
currently i use my Tungsten E handheld as MP3/WMA/OGG player with SD card for expanded memory. the reason i picked that option is that i find it an advantage over cd-based players which are battery hogs (u can have the battery almost drained with just one cd playback) & that u don't have skipping probs since the memory's solid state with almost no movable parts. & because there are no movable parts, the player itself can be very very small with no compromise over memory capacity & playback quality.
but for now, most audio players with built-in memory (128, 256, 512 megs) are non-expandable, which is sad. there are some though with memory slots, though the brands are unheard of & therefore warrants caution.
just like cleg, normally i would use my PC to listen to music (either with speakers or headphone). hey, i have to justify that SB Live audio card! thinking of upgrading to a 5.1 audio card just because i'm contemplating on getting Zalman 5.1 audio channel headphone.
