Evil Genius in general reminded me of No one lives forever. Same kind of music etc, it looked bout the same etc
If I recall correctly, NOLF was inspired by "The man from U.N.C.L.E.", as well as most 60's spy-media.
Evil Genius, on the other hand, was more focusing of beeing a light-hearted parody of James Bond. Maximillian is typically Goldfinger.
