Ha, good categorization to everything misshaped. MMORPG could be a twoheaded flying chicken then.

... then the man tried to explain to the woman after they discovered the 'accident'. "the rubber (chicken?) got torn! it was too late by then." <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

talk of Evil Genius, i wish they put out the soundtrack on cd for sale so i can buy it & play it anytiem i want instead of switching on the game just to listen to the music. i love the east european orchestra (especially czech) sound. i know the composer for diablo employed them for the soundtrack (not too sure about WC3) & quite a number of anime soundtracks are also played by the Czech Orchestra. beautiful! & i suddenly remembered! Grim Fandango has the same jazz styles, isn't it? oh how i miss that game. (actually i was just an observer of my brother's game)

I like the jazz in Grim Fandago and especially the sombre, rainy-day soundtrack of Discworld Noir.

I think the best music I've heard this year was (except for Evil Genius) FarCry and Dawn of War.

Hmmmmmm i wonder if leisure suit larry would be considered a RPG????? a VERY funny one, but sort of think its a quest-type RPG <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I loved Larry <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

It's a typical adventure game. The later Larry wasn't even in the same room as Al Lowe <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />.

I should've nominated www.guildwars.com as the best official website for a game.

I nominate:

Fable (Xbox) as the shortest game of the year.
Thief: Deadly Shadows, as the sneakiest game of the year, followed closely by SC: pandora tomorrow.
Thief: Deadly Shadows, best lighting award.
Thief: Deadly Shadows, best atmosphere award.
Thief: Deadly Shadows, best player character award.

Can you guess what game I like? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

Uhh....
Fable?

Am I right? What did I win?!

I forgot to nominate Larian forums for the best forums arround (in fact the only forum I am currently on). The runner-up is Relicnews.

Hmmm...Close...
Fable is actually excellent, only far too short. You could beat it in 2 days.

I second the Larian forum for best one. Been on a few and this is the only one I like.

Yeah, I know Relicnews. Was there around the early development of Homeworld 2. Don't know what's going on there, currently. They haven't released the mighty Goatthrower yet, eh ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

No idea, Alrik: I myself do not go further than the Chaos strategy forum. Since the overflow of users they got, Relicnews had to remove the search function as well as include stricter policies. Nuff said, a giant forum such of Relicnews cannot work well without a search function.

I see. The Goat-Thrower was an insider-joke there, a goat-shaped spaceship for homeworld 2 (probably designed to throw goats ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ROFL.gif" alt="" /> ) which unfortunately never got implemented. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />
