I think many BD fans will agree w/ me that just didn't get much recognition this year from sales, reviewers, & 2004 gaming awards when compared to other games. IGN didn't even MENTION a runner-up for their PC RPG Of The Year, which they gave out to Vampire: Bloodlines. That's fine, but they not even mention a runner-up! I know 2004 was dead w/ PC RPG's, but c'mon --- BD or some other RPG didn't get a mention for runner-up? If anything, to me, it looked like PC RPG would be b/t Vampire: Bloodlines and . IGN even gave a 8.0 in their review, which is a good score.
IGN Readers' Awards are coming up. is on the list for games to vote for on IGN Readers' PC RPG GOTY Award. So, fans/gamers, if that's your pick for IGN Readers' RPG PC RPG GOTY for 2004, let your vote be heard there at this link:
http://pc.ign.com/articles/574/574238p1.htmlIt seems the way has been treated this year in sales (not as huge as some games), reviews ( received good reviews), and awards (IGN didn't even mention as a runner-up for PC GOTY RPG!), there is another category it could also have a
pretty good chance in. wasn't even listed as a game that could be in this category, for IGN Readers' Best Game No One Played 2004 so, you'd have to E-mail IGN w/ subject: "No One Played" and write in in the E-mail's body. You'd send your vote to this E-mail address here:

How would you know, anyway?
By IGN Staff
December 20, 2004 - Every year a ton of games get released. It's no coincidence that half of these games just never end up getting the kind of commercial reception that they might like. After all, there's not an endless supply of money out there to buy these games, even if the gamers out there are pretty rabid about their entertainment. Sadly, this means that some great games end up slipping through the cracks. Whether it's because the premises weren't as interesting as others, they didn't have a 2 after their titles, or they just didn't get the exposure that they should have before their releases, they didn't get the consumer recognition that they deserved.
This is a bit of a conundrum. Because this particular vote is for best game no one played, this means most of you haven't played the selections. So we're depending on those of you that actually got off of your lazy asses to play some games that didn't get the promotion that the might have deserved. Get into this vote and fight for the honor of your particular game.
Vote for the Best Game No One Played in 2004!
If your favorite title isn't listed in the poll, no worries; just simply email your choice to us with the word No One Played in the subject line and we'll be sure to include it when we count the votes.
EDIT:
Um, yeah -- I goofed and put it on the wrong board. Can someone move this to the Beyond Divinity (English) boards?
