janggut:

lol rofl nice joke there but no i didnt have beyond divinity but i do now!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The music in the battlefelds seems to change so actually i dont mind it now.

Now im at Act 2 Level 12.
I have found the imp village and after exploring it i got caught up in the necromancer who has transported me to the abbey...ahh at last some greenery.
Im glad i didnt have to fight Samuel at the end of Act 1...he scares me.

I have noticed that to lockpick a door you just need the skill and no lockpicks...i just feel that this slightly takes away the rgp eleemnt of <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" />

I dont mind the way the new skills are made out althougth i would have prefered that the pictures were similar to the drawing in <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />
The current pictures are very colourful/maybe dare i say something an 8 year old would draw?

But the new resistances and different types of arrows are brilliant and great for startegy. My DK is have a ball using them.

Also ...no personal traits!!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

I used to love looking at how sad my character was then how great he was as he leveled up.

But there are different types of traps...now this is going to be good.

A few questions....

Investing in speed makes you charater swing faster?
Becuase it adds to initaive and isnt that"decreases recuparation time" in <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />

Also must you finish doing all the quests in level 1 battlefield and drop the key so that you can access level 2 of the battlefields?

Tragic

Speed is a component of evasion and initiative, and helps your attack rate and recovery time.

BF keys are found in the main game only. The random keys in the BF dungeons do not open anything, so you can ignore them.
You can do the dungeons in any order, though if you clear the higher level ones first, you will probably not be getting experience points for killing creatures by the time you reach the lower level dungeons.

The act 2, level 2 BF key can be found in the imp village (not too far from where the necromancer will drop you off when you are done his first task, actually).

Thanks for that Raze...i thought so... my characters take a while to attack but now its ok since i gained a level and added mostly on speed.

Since <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> takes place around 20 years after <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />..i am glad to see that prices for equipment have increased dramitacally...therefore inflation does indeed exist even in medievil places such as <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" />... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I cant stress agan how great those different types of arrows are <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

Oh yeah the music(like Samuel) scares me...i get scared about weird things...

Shyon: Dont worry about it...its preety good so far..a bit depressing at first when you are trying to escape the citadel...but once you reach the imps village...its just like any other village in <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> but maybe without the greenery...preety nice though

I have just realied how versitle the skill system is...i mean choosing exactly what to increase is great.i.e accuracy etc
Plus i love the imp village and its music...the quests are a bit hard...i am going to do a through search today and see if i can solve them.

One question though...which skill is the one which allows you to charm your weapons/armour?

I cant seem to find it in the manual.
Embellish equipment?

Embellish equipment?

This is a quote of an answer of Raze about charms :

[color:"yellow"]
Quote
No skill is required. Left click on the equipped item and a charm window should open. Move it away from the inventory window, if necessary, (so it will not get covered when the inventory becomes active), then drag and drop charms to permanently add them to the equipment.

charm effects

Embellish equipment : this skill is not really useful. It gives a higher value to the items when you have to sell them.

Barta, yeah your right..thanks for that..i too didint like the embellish equipment skill...

Currently i am going around trying to unlock as many skills as possible.
Near level 20 and about to finish Act 2(well i hope). Is my level too low?
I have the feeling it might be.

I only use level 1 of each battlefields per Act...i dont have the patience to keep wondering around killing everything.
The game for me would be impossible to finish but at least you have the option for going for better equipment if you so choose.

I also like the fact that you have to be very obsevervent in order to complete the quests...now thats cool.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> starts off like <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> in the diffuclty rating...i.e i feel it starts hard and then becomes meduim difficulty rating.

Another question:

When i tell the imp hero that his wife needs him he and several other imps make a few comments and the the screen goes to full screen...then remains like this for a few minutes...is this normal?

I have downloaded the latest patch 1.47

I am having a ball investing all my points on "critical hit" option...haha the screen shakes when you get one of those.

THe imp hero cut-scene taking forever sometimes has been reported as a bug, but there isnt much Larian could do about it....

At least you only have to do that once in the game <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I don't think that level 20 is too low at the end of act 2.
I also did not play the battlefields during the game and i was about level 11 at the end of act 1, level 20 at the end of act 2 and level 32 at the end of the game.

Some fights seems too easy and other ones very difficult.
It depends of your choices of skills and how you use your stat points.
I think that the level of difficulty is good in Beyond Divinity.
I don't like too easy games and i also don't like "unplayable" games.

I also had this bug. I had to reload several times and finally the game worked and i could finish this quest.

I have no answer to this question. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />
