Okies, here comes my list of shooters.
I'd like to write my nr. 1 - Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, but it is not first person and it is more sneaker than shooter. But anyway I liked it best.
Then next of course Half-life 2.
nr. 3 - Riddick is very very promising, I just started it, I can say that regardless of lack of advertisement this seems to be top quality game (third person again).
nr. 4 - Doom 3 was more dissapointment than success, ID delayed it for too long. What I didn't like about Doom, it was too repetitive, by the end of the game the only thing I wanted to see in my life was sun and some green grass instead of those Mars's industrial catacombs, reactors and processing plants. But still, best quality, textures, monsters ever made in any games. So, respect to ID.
Far Cry - I have written I didn't like it. sorry DATD.
nr. 5 - Call of Duty: United Offencive was very nice, but maybe too short.
nr. 6 - I would add MOH Pacific Assault (I haven't played it yet, but I have it on my todo list). I am sure, it is one of the best.
nr. 7 - Rainbow Six 3 was a masterpiece.
nr. 8 - Halo
nr. 9 - UT 2004
nr. 10 - Thief 3.
nr. 11 Painkiller - great monsters. Good game for angry mood after work
