Ube, be glad your parents still know how to enjoy themselves at their age. many old people forgot how to have a good time especially after retirement. it's as if their former jobs are the only things that define them.
@ lady rain -> if it's that hard for u to imagine a greek with red hair, blue eyes & fair skin, why don't u try creating a greek character on BD? mine's a platinum blonde named Foxii Ledi. i think she's swedish.

I can picture 1 of either 2 things.....
REd hair, fair skin, blue eyes..... but not adding the typical greek steriotype picture to it.....
or i can picture the typical greek steriotype, even with fair skin, but not red hair and blue eyes....
And no offence really.... its just that the normal steriotype picture, is so far from having blue eyes

Ok people lets take it from the start :
Luc = Lucretia ... = Greek = not a geek.
Many forum members have seen lots of pics of me in and they know how I look.
The Greek stereotype is actually the Turkish stereotype. Greeks were mostly blonde in the past before Turks get over Greece in about 1453 and stayed for 400 years. After so many years the mixtures produced the dark skin/hair type of Greek most people know. There are though some areas in Greece that people have blonde hair, blue or green eyes and pale skin. Including Creta Island which is the place I come from. This is mainly because people from Creta refused to mate with Turks and Creta was the first area that send them back to their country (after some brutal battles). My uncle -from my dad's side- has red hair and blue eyes and my cousin's son is totaly blonde with blue eyes although his mom and dad are dark haired.

I am sorry for the off topic but I was just answering some questions. @ Luc Don't apologise to me, I'm just a humble servant of this forum!! Don't wanna hurt a soul on this tread. I just got so tired yesterday, I haven't been on the forum for a few days and then I had to hurry to read all the posts before my hubbie gets jalous of me being on my computer for such a long time! Sorry!!!

Hope next day will be better. For both of us. @Luc, My day was better today, except for my doggie. She peed and pooped all over the place. But besides that everything was cool. And your day? I hope you did better too, no one deserves a bad day after your work @Übi, yes you can pick your spous but you cannot have the garantee that they stay the same, mine became a little to dependent on me and does not like the fact that I found some new friends on the forum and he does not. He's very bad in English and doesn't like DD. So, don't hope to hard for the next rope around your neck . Just kidding, but stay single as long as possible and have a taste of life before you get your "ball in chains" Figurely speaking of course

"ball in chains" Figurely speaking of course I believe that should be 'ball and chain'. What you said brings up a painful mental picture....

I also believe that its better to stay "single" (or at LEAST not living with your partner) for as long as possible (i even dare to say until you are about 25), this gives you the chance to figure out who you are, what you want, HOW you want it.... all in all you determine your own ways.... and you settle in them. After that, you are emotionally independed enough to cope with the adjustments of a permanent relationship, without it changing you too much. This way you will STAY happy in your ways, and not one day wake up and realise that you just dont like what you are anymore.
