If I'm correct it attacks a crit till it's dead with 1 click, not 1 click every attack.

get ready for the butcher, king leoric, lava dogs/spawns, and the succubi (they are much, much more dangerous here than in d2:lod).

imho, diablo is more difficult and more fun than lod. true, lod had better items, larger area, more skills, more characters. but nothing beats the claustrophobic & nail-biting feeling you get in d1. you never know what you will run into when you turn a corner. and they are very tight corners. it's so easy to run away from monsters in lod. in d1, nocando. you can't run. period.

i almost got dizzy inside that dungeon where you find slipsnot (the tavern banner quest). ohh you'll find him soon enough. such a small area and...i'll stop here before this turns into a big spoiler. another spoiler (well, sort of):

one of the most frightening moments i've had in my rpg playing was when i got teleported to archbishop lazarus's lair. played that area around midnight in my darkened room and the only thing i can hear was the haunting sound in my headphone. ahh, it's good to be reminded of those good, old days. of being chased by the butcher. when skeletons were more frightening.

have fun!
