Just like the chinese cannot (well cant when they are relatively new to the language) say "r", they also cannot pronounce a word that ends with a consonant (for eg. Coke - when you pronounce it, you say "coak") a chinese will pronounce it "coaka"

Have you ever imagined a chinese trying to pronounce the german "ch" sound or dutch "g" (same sound really).... but have you tried to imagine it?????

I have had the good fortunea couple of years ago, to get a warning letter for laughing at a chinese trying to say "geniet jou dag" (enjoy your day)....

On the other hand, have you ever listened to an english person trying to pronounce 4 different "tones" in a sentence of chinese????? Even if you literally pronounce the word correct, but have the tone wrong... you can turn san(-) (three) into san(^) (umbrella). Now how easy do you think it would be to swear someone's mother in a language that is that intricate?????
