The sad thing is that most inexperienced users get so panicked that they do format C: and lose everything, instead of trying to eleminate the virus first - which includes often more work than just format C: <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> - but with keeping the harddisk's contents intact.
