Idiot jokes aside, I've had a few dogs and the one thing you need is patience. Every time she poops outside, give her praise and a treat. Every time she does it inside, you have to talk sternly to her. Shout even, but do it in a way that makes her realise she's being punished, not attacked. That will just make her afraid and she'll poop again!

Throw her out for a few minutes too if you catch her doing it inside.

Eating poop is disgusting, but all dogs do it, they're filthy buggers.

They have to be watched carefully until they learn this behaviour. Six months old isn't too old IMO. Easier to train than a cat anyway, believe me... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
