Until a few years ago shops here in germany were only allowed to open until 18.30 PM, Saturdays until 14.00 PM (I think). Sundays never. Then, an experiment was started : Thursdays shops can be open until 21.00 PM. Now, things are that shops canm open until 20.00 PM every day - except sundays, of course.
But in fact, shops rather to close whenever they want to. So it became more confusing. Especially on Saturdays, when they are allowed to open until 20.00 PM , too, but close very often about 16.00 PM , an almost "traditional" time (like the infamous traditional closing time Saturdays on 14.00 PM, which is often used even now).
My sister likes Ikea. She's often there. And I've assembled several pieces of furniture from Ikea for both my parents and my sister so far. (It's me if they need one ... )
So instead of a hectic day of work they'd go to Churuch, then have a meal with their family and/or friends, then go out an do something togeather.
Sounds nice, in a way.
Yes, that's how it's meant.
