Hm - IKEA is a profit oriented business ands wants to - and does - make money anywhere it is represented.
And it does so, because a lot of people buy there - so obviously not everyone shares the same universally bad view on their products with you...
So it probably is like everywhere - there are good things and bad things. And there is the question of individual taste and preferences.
