i always think if i want to decorate my home, i'll do it japanese style; with only cushions on the clean floor (of course with bamboo/reed mat). i'm a minimalist.

I like the eastern style too, I love to decorate my livingspace in Feng shiu. I have at least the earthly colors and the bamboo and an aquarium. But I can't read the books about it, there all made up for new modern build houses and I live in a 200 year old house. I have a nice Bouddha from Vietnam on my fireplace and a Shiva and Ganesh in my bedroom. I want to have separate styles in every room of the house but they all have to be eastern. The next room I'll decorate is the master bedroom. This will look Indian Style.
