and i just got word Larian studios are only going to use the speedtree program without the gamebryo engine,

Divinity 2 is going to be a tree sim-rpg!

Say what you want but those trees in oblivion look mighty fine. So if it's a screenshot of just some landscape I'd be happy. Hell I'd be happy if it's just the logo of the game.

(will it be divinity² or divine divinity² does Lar finally gets to keep the name of the game or will he once again be thwarted by the the forces of PR)

Hmm Larian is 100 000$ (50 000$ for the licence per title + 2* 25 0000$ for support if the development takes 2 years) lighter thank god the dollar is low. So combined with the mystery project that means Larian spend prolly 200 000$ on Gambryo.

And 5,995 per title on Speedtree.

Just downloaded the demo.... busy installing it (so far taking forever to install)..... but i am looking forward to seeing what we can expect <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I downloaded the demo and installed it ..... but <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> when it came time to run the demo...... up came the lovely page fault in module whatever page....so i guess i'll never know what it looks like till i upgrade my vid card and memory..... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/stupid.gif" alt="" />

You need DirectX9.0c to run it.... otherwise it will give you an error.


Its pretty impressive.... brilliant detail, although i didnt like the engine they used in the demo.... (but then again Larian wont be using this engine... so its FINE <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />)

Checks new PC specs:

Memory Check
Disk space (Will I have 500 MB free on my 500 GB HD's) <= possible problem
GPU: 2 6600GT in SLI mode will suffice?

got DirectX 9.0c... maybe it's cuz i don't have enough ram to run it....only 320MB, maybe it's my vid card Nividia Riva TNT Model 64 ....32MB memory....
