I've only played 1.10... And 1.00 and 1.07 singleplayer... But that's it. I've played an overlord online btw...
You'll have 5 skellies on lvl 9 (8 if you put every skillpoint you have ito it). 2 points into skelletonmastery will HEAVILLY increase them.
Late, 1 point in revive can give you some edge if you need it. You hardly ever do though...
Never noticed mages being in the way... But you're the boss... How does summon resist work btw? I meen 75 res in norm isn't 75 in hell... And how usefull is it? Anywhay, one point in it can't hurt...
And if I only put one point into mages, I have 19 points to invest in something else... (a direct dmg skill, prehaps? Lvl 20 bonespear sin't very impressing though... At least not by itself... Maybe teeth ).
The dream would be to have 42 skelletons in the end. I've met a guy who had this. I don't know what kind of überkokko-equipment he had (I DO know he had his inventory FILLED with summonskill-charms though, and he had full trang oul's). You can allways dream...
Übereil (charactebuild. The best part about D2 )
Edit: Poison nova migh be an idea agaist those physicalimmune bastards. One point in lower resist and we can kill EVERYTHING... Sooner or later...
2:nd edit: Maybe we can convice Womble that a druid with heart of the wolverine is the way to go... Better dmg, better attack (not needed, but still nice). And then have dire wolves... With maxed out grizly bear they'll have quite solid dmg... And then he puts points into BOTH hurricane AND armageddon, and then he can walk around and look ugly or something...
