But we do not use latin alphabet. Unfortunatelly this forum does not suport our alphabet. So you can not see how these words actually look when writen in Greek. But I think you get the idea better in this way because you know how to pronounce them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />
LUCRETIA I would like to see. Why not make them into a gif or jpg and then post your words as a picture. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Tsel <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Good Gods! Someone who actualy speaks Greek! And you know our epsilon and êta! I am so glad! Makes me feel more like home. Your Kalimera is just perfect. In Greek alphabet it is writen with êta. But there is not êta in latin alphabet. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> Capital H is capital êta though.
I have made a jpeg file but I can not upload it. I do not have a site. Can anyone help?

In my browser, painstakingly converting the greek alfabet to unicode shows up correctly, but it takes loads of effort....
I am not sure if this will show up correctly in everyone's browser, let me know if it doesnt.

I heard something about Calimero? Wasn't that little chick with an eggshell on his head. He always used to say: "They are big and I am small, that is not fair!"

i don't know if english or more exactly not french readers may understand it though... well maybe, i don't know... Do you mean than outside of France, Calimero is unknown ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> C'est vraiment trop injuste ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> @ Galadriel Very nice picture. I love Calimero <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kissyou.gif" alt="" /> Barta

We have Calimero in Austria too, are we part of the civilized world now? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
Does he wear a sombrero in other languages too? I mean, they don't seem to mind that it is, in fact, an eggshall...*thinks about that* <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

Гє׀ά σας Гє׀ά Хαρά Аντίο Кαλημέρα КαληνύХτα I would've tried the same ... cbut in the Forum display (you own properties) you must turn the use of HTML explicitely on ! (I think.) Edit Searched, but could not find an entry for that in the forum. Guess it must be the Browser, then. Another thing : http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U0370.pdf Greek in Unicode. The Greek letters in the German standward-work "SelfHTML" : http://de.selfhtml.org/html/referenz/zeichen.htm#benannte_griechischThis is the greatest HTML-Reference I know, but unfortunately only available in German. Source : http://de.selfhtml.org/index.htmSecond Edit : On http://www.selfhtml.org I just saw that there are several versions of SelfHTML available ... some of them still need work to do - like the Englisch Version. SELFHTML Documentation (only the CSS Style Sheets chapter is translated into english)

Master Guroth > You should be very proud! Ancient Greek are much more difficult than modern Greek although modern Greek are totaly based in the ancient language. We study many many years Ancient Greek in school. But there are few Greeks that can read them. In fact there are few Greeks that know modern Greek too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> So cheers to you for learning something so difficult even long time ago.

Yes, but it would still be more slim if everybody spoke the same language as mother language.
