Last samurai is a product of Hollywood, as all others fancy and polished. Kitano's and Kurosawa's movies are different. They stand and are based on japanese spirit, they describe will and strength of a warrior. Needless to say that this movie is funny too.

Excellent movie. First one I saw, where german soldier at WWII is shown from the positive side.
