I saw "The Clan of the Cavebear" yesterday. It's with Daryll Hannah (Kill Bill 1&2, Splash etc...and Pamela Reed (from "Kindergarten cop"). Allthought it was an older movie, from 1986 I guess, I still liked it.

Just saw sin city. If you like pulp fiction you will love Sin city. The dark cold world of sin city and the color effects are fantastic.

Just watched an absolute ANCIENT movie... but still a good one...

The pit and the pendulum.....

Unlike the book (which was the reason i wanted to see it), it has nothing to do with a sick person's ravings about torture... it was about the 1600's church... and the witch burnings....

A young couple, gets seperated in a crowd.... a priest sees the girl, and takes a "liking" to her.... has her imprisoned for witchcraft.... her husband tries to free her, and gets imprisoned for that.... The priest naturally, makes sure that she gets convicted (if you could call it a trial), of the said witchcraft. Since she is now HIS prisoner, he takes advantage of the situation, and tries to tempt her into bedding with him, in return for her freedom... She doesnt (neither would I, he was UGLY), but later on, he does force her to...... he also cuts out her tounge so that she cannot speak of the wrong done to her.

Long story short... she DOES eventually escape, after months of unspeakable toruture for her and her husband. And good prevailed when the priest died a horrible death in his own torture chamber.

It was in the scene where the senator confronts Hartigan. He tells him he could shoot him right here and now and no one would dare oppose him

That was the movie I was talking about a little while ago! I still have bad dreams about that movie. The way the sword was hanging above his bed, when he takes those scissors to cut off her tongue, when the inquision undressed her and made fingerprints on her body, so she would have the marks. It has been over 8 years since I saw that movie, but I still can't forget about it. It was one of the most horrifying movies for me, especially because things like that really happened.

I've just watched Race To Freedom on T.V. It's a movie based on the book Underground To Canada . Both the book and the movie were very well done. It's not for all the action fanats, but its got a really good story.

Again on television, I saw Double Take . Another very good movie, for everyone who enjoys a clean, funny, action movie. Watch it. You don't know who to trust, and who to avoid. It's twisted and turining.

I rented 5 movies again today, (or yesterday, givin its 1:30 in the morning ) but I'll put them all in one post later once I've watched them all. Two down, three to go...

I've also watched Dragon Ball Z: Brolly, the Second Comming . I like DBZ. A good series and the movies are fun too. There's action and a bit of little jokes in there for dramatic relief. I think that in this particular movie, (#10) they put too much comedy and not enough crazy Brolly action. Oh, well...

To make a long story short, there wasn't one good movie between all of them? Poor boy, maybe you should ask a pro before you rent movies?

I saw Bad Boy Bubby the other night. That was really good. It's about Bubby. Bubby has been locked in his one room apartment for 35 years by his selfish mother. All he understands is what his mother teaches him, just enough to keep control over him through fear. Bubby's father returns one day, not even knowing that he got the mother pregnant. Bubby is soon forgotten as mother now has a more human companion. Left to his own devices, he tries to learn to live in society, having no social, language or life skills. Of course, no one realises his predicament, thinking he is simply a retard or a sicko (perverted, creepy person.) It's amazing how he manages to get along and begin to learn, despite the number of crimes he unwittingly comits. It's full of sick and twisted ideas, but even the squirmish just has to see what happens next. Highly recommended.

Still watching those 5 movies I'll put into one post later.

For now, one from the movies:

Red Eye : A very good thriller (or drama, I've heard it called both ). Full of suspence. I liked it, and so did my bros. and my dad. "What's going to happen next? Can this end well? Ooooooo!!!"

I would recommend it. I hear it's being called the #2 movie out in theatres right now (just after Wedding Crashers ). That fact is understandible. It's also great that you watch the movie and say: "Whoa! That could really happen!!" There's no farfeched garbage.

Watch and enjoy.
