I saw Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and enjoyed it. It'a light, easy to watch movie, the characters and universe are interesting and it is visually very beautiful. Jim Carey doesn't exagerate too much. I loved his dinosaur imitation. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

After that I watched Looking for Alexander ( Mmoires affectives ). The story is not particularly original and the rythm is slow, but the atmosphere and images are great. Not to be enjoyed by everyone, but I liked it.

Not long ago I also saw for the second time The Red Violin (Le violon rouge). It's original, very beautiful to see & hear; not an easy movie, though. It is known to be whether absolutely loved or the inverse; as for me, I enjoyed it too.
