SInce the Tsunami the weather all over the world seems to have gone haywire....
In SA, our daily temperatures are higher than normal, we have had the most flash floods recorded in 65 years, where we havnt had any deaths / drownings related to floods in the last 3 years (and normally when there are casualties, its 1 or 2 a year, and mostly in the coastal areas), this year in Gauteng (our province) alone, there has been 9 deaths / drownings. And we are inland.... not prone to any floods (for that matter not prone to lots of rain either).
3 days ago, we had 180mm in 36 minutes!!!!
I know its nothing compared to the storm in europe, but the point is that the whole globe's weather has gone abnormal....
ALl my sympathies to those with damages, and those without electricity... i hope it will be restored quickly.
