I know lots of people have asked this before but none of the previous advice seems to work for me (I have patch 1.34 installed).
My warrior has repair skill at level 1 and I don't have much gold so would prefer to repair items myself. My shield is dur 2/4 and is glowing orange for repair, but I can't seem to do it.
I select the repair skill, then right click so that the cursor becomes the hammer and anvil. But when I left click on the shield I hear a "chink" noise and then the cursor goes back to normal. But my shield is still dur 2/4.
I have tried repairing the shield with it in my inventory, on my arm, and also on the ground but nothing seems to make any difference.
On the odd occasion, the hammer and anvil cursor remains for a while after clicking on the shield, but it goes on forever...
Any ideas?
