@ Lynn
I have another idea about the specific thread... Close it completely... we start a NEW one, and carry on without the memories of anything being bad in it....
@ Everyone
I also think that everybody at the moment is strung WAY too tight... two months ago, things like this would have been dealth with quickly, with a request to Lynn to delete the specific post, the person warned, and we ALL moved on.... we didnt look back.
Now everybody jumps up and down, and in reality, all we are achieving at the moment, is to break down the good image of the whole forum. Its always been possible to keep the smiley posts in the open, while dealing with the bad ones in private. That way, everybody saw the good, and the bad never made the newspapers.
All the apologies has been said, carrying on about this subject, will just create more problems, people will get more upset, more bad things will get said, people will eventually just leave.... If we let this die down now, things can get back to normal. I understand there has been a lot of stress lately, a lot of events that we did not like, nor could control. But its time to build a bridge and get over it. Focus on the positive things.
So why dont we all take a deep breath, close our eyes, concentrate, and when we open our eyes again, SMILE and carry on....
