If you are back in the catacombs, perhaps looking at
these maps from GameBanshee's walkthrough will help you get oriented. If you scroll down the page, you will find descriptions of the numbered locations and some hints on how to proceed.
The maps linked to above are of the first two levels of the catacombs; if you find you are past this, then look at the menus running down the right side of the page. Under the Act III menu you can click on "Temple Catacombs 3" and the entries below that to see the rest of the levels.
